RAYE x H&M, The Art of Movement, Village Underground
Live Show + Installation
This one-off show transformed the raw architecture of Village Underground into a living installation. A space to explore motion, form, and light through the lens of performance.
Co-conceived by creative director Nathan Prince and movement director Paul Sadot, the piece combined choreography with experimental film treatments, creating an environment that celebrated the human form in motion.
Studio Prince developed the visual aesthetics, inspired by video art and abstraction. Custom content was projected through suspended gauze, as ghostly footage of a powerful cast of dancers moved in and out of visibility.
Footage of the performers was manipulated using TouchDesigner, with experimental treatments including in-camera effects, analogue distortion, and AI-generated textures drawn from the collection itself. What emerged was a constantly shifting interplay between the physical and the digital, light and body.
At the heart of the night was a live performance by RAYE, revealed behind a cascade of falling fabric as the installation gave way to sound.
Live action direction by Nathan Prince, choreography by Paul Sadot Commissioned by Broadwick Studio for H&M Move.
