The Rolling Stones

Paint It, Black. Live Visuals, Global Tour

A dreamlike sequence of synthetic florals, designed for the Rolling Stones' live performance of Paint It, Black.

Directed by Nathan Prince in collaboration with James Littlemore, the visual concept explored the fragility and distortion of beauty through UV timelapse photography, analogue textures, and surreal decay.

Shot with fluorescent blacklight and layered with gloss paint, inverted colour treatments, and liquid distortion, the piece pulsed between natural form and abstraction, a slowly wilting hallucination in time with the music.
